Reservation Systems
Throughout the years our team has built multiple reservation systems. One of
these systems is the
Room Reservation system, which is mainly a simple and fast
reservation management application for all your conference/meeting rooms within
the organization, allowing the receptionist or the employees to book the rooms
for future events.
The system allows employees of a company to search and view available conference rooms. Once a room is found, it can be booked for one or multiple recurring dates.
For an event, some audio/video or food catering may be requested. This will follow an approval workflow so that at the time of the event, audio/video equipments and/or catering are delivered as requested.
When a reservation is being placed/approved, automatic notification emails are sent to the user that is making the reservation and to the administrators of the system The users can quickly see in the main calendar view all the events by date or by room.
The administration area allows new rooms to be configured, catering menus and audio/video equipments to be added or changed.
Another type of reservation system, the
Desk Reservation Tool, allows the employees visiting another office to search and choose a desk to reserve for a limited amount of time, in a particular day. The reservation is done instantly, from any computer located in the office. Once a desk is reserved, any other employee using the system will see that particular desk as unavailable, in maximum 10 seconds since the reservation was confirmed.
Unlike the Room Reservation application, the Hotelling tool displays desks using a map view.
The administrator of the application is provided with an easy way to upload and configure the offices on a map, by simply dragging the desired office on the office map.
