Performance Analysis Application for Production Lines

The application is a fast tool that runs on smaller Windows systems and facilitates data collection about production delays and provides comprehensive reports to analyze and find effectiveness improvement opportunities in a production environment. Report calculation is using a complex weighting algorithm to create comparable figures between machines running at different speeds.

Quick overview of the production status

There is a summary grid on the main page that provides a quick status about how the production line is performing. The calculation threshold is also customizable.



Simple, quick data collection

Data collection process is customizable based on precision and accuracy requirements of individual production lines. It is designed to collect useful data in a short time and with maximized help by calculating entry fields from machines approved speed.



Extensive set of reports

There are 16 types of reports providing insight into the problems of the production line. All can be filtered by many criteria. Reporting criteria can be saved for future reuse and it is possible to produce a predefined batch of reports – useful for weekly review and/or analysis meetings.



Flexible database back-end

The application can be customized to operate using any relational database back-end depending on the available infrastructure.

Modular install

The application has 3 options for installation:

• Data entry module – useful for operators
• Reporting module – for analysis teams
• Administration module – facilitates the system configuration and setup

Customizable report parts

The reports have custom fields and custom footers so the user can append their required information to the reports. Users have the possibility to group a set of reports to be printed on A3 paper (3 or 4 on one page) and print an arbitrary Word Document besides these reports. Word documents can contain the decisions, targets, short term goals for people to read.

Scalable reporting

The application has a wide tool set for exporting data into Excel and/or Access. This feature facilitates further analysis of production line using external applications.
